Bernard Dichek is a filmmaker and journalist. He is a regular contributor of articles about  social issues to The Times of Israel website.

He has written and directed programs about the indigenous  peoples of Canada, biomedical innovations in Israel and development work in  Africa and Nepal for world-leading organizations including the National Film Board of Canada, the National Geographic Channel, the World Health Organization and the Nature Network.

 He previously founded  BioIsrael.com, an internet platform for Israel’s biotechnology industry.

A graduate of  York University’s Film Program (Toronto), he earned a M.A. from the Hebrew University Communications Institute and a fellowship at the European Initiative for Communicators of Science.
